FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you have insurance?

Yes, up to one million dollars in general liability. I am happy to send proof of insurance if your venue requires it.

Do you carry backup equipment?

Always. I actively prepare for the unexpected — there are no do-overs when it comes to your special day!

Why don't you list your prices online?

Because my prices vary depending on hours of coverage, travel time, number and type of prints you decide to purchase, whether or not you want a wedding album and what type, etc., I find that it is easier to discuss pricing with each client individually. I offer a wide range of packages, so we can definitely find something that works within your budget.

How do we begin the booking process?

Just fill out a contact form online and I'll reach out to you within a few days. We'll set up an in-person consultation to discuss your wedding details and help you select the perfect package.

Many of the photos on your website feature beautiful venues. What will our images look like if our venue isn't quite so picturesque?

It is absolutely possible to get beautiful pictures in any location. In fact, I have developed a whole set of strategies specifically for getting great shots even when backgrounds are drab or distracting. In fact, many of my favorite shots over the years have been the result of less-than-ideal settings forcing me to get creative!

Can we have the raw photos?

I do you one better by making sure all the images I send your way are polished and ready for sharing.

Can we have friends or other photographers taking pictures?

I ask that you don't have any additional photographers as it can make it harder for me to get those perfect shots that you'll love forever.

How many pictures will we receive?

Every wedding is a little different, but for a typical wedding I'll send around 300 pictures.

In what ways will we receive our pictures?

I'll send all your pictures in digital files through a password protected link, ready to download or share with friends and family. After you receive your pictures, we'll do an in-person consultation during which I'll guide you through the process of deciding which pictures to print (I offer a variety of sizes and finishes) as well as which to include in a wedding album (for which I also offer various options). Of course, if you're only interested in the digital files, that's okay too!

When will our pictures arrive?

You'll receive your digital files one to two weeks after your wedding. Prints and albums will arrive two to three weeks after we finalize the design.

What are our rights the images?

You are welcome to use your digital files in whatever non-commercial ways that you please: mugs, t-shirts, social media  — go wild!
